These terms are the agreement between you and My Reading Table when you use this website. We wrote them in ordinary sentences. Please read them. If you need a slower pass, take it.
The table
My Reading Table is a private reading and grammar guide for adults. Lessons, exercises, and real-world practice are here to help you learn at your own pace. They are not a test, a school transcript, or medical, legal, or employment advice.
Sample texts — such as a job form or a medication label — are for practice. Always follow the real form, label, or instruction in your hand, and ask a professional when you are unsure.
Your account
You may join with Google, with an email, or continue as a guest with no real name. You are responsible for the password you choose, and for the Google account you use to sign in. A guest table that never receives an email may be lost if you change devices or clear this browser.
Please keep your account to yourself. Do not try to enter someone else’s table.
Access and payment
Some lessons are open without a purchase so you can see if the table fits. Full access is a one-time payment of $35 (or the price shown at checkout), not a subscription. After a successful payment, lifetime access stays on that account.
Payments are processed by Stripe. If a payment does not complete, access is not opened. If something looks wrong after you pay, write to us and we will look at it with you.
Using the lessons
The lessons, exercises, and design belong to My Reading Table. You may use them for your own learning. You may not copy the course to sell, scrape it, or pretend it is yours.
Do not use the site to harm others, break the law, overload our systems, or try to read another person’s progress.
Privacy
How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy page. That page is part of these terms.
No grades, no public stage
Progress is a private map, not a grade. We do not promise a particular result, a job, a certificate, or a reading level recognized by a school or employer. Learning takes time. You set the pace.
The site as it is
We work to keep the table steady. Sometimes a lesson, a payment, or a sign-in may fail. The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, My Reading Table is not liable for lost progress, lost guest tables, or indirect damages.
If a court in your place does not allow some of these limits, those parts do not apply to you. The rest still does.
Ending the table
You may stop using the site at any time. You may ask us to delete your account. We may close an account that breaks these terms, or that we must close by law. If we close it for a serious breach, we are not required to refund a completed one-time purchase.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. If you keep using the site after an update, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can stop and write to us.
